Two CALG attorneys have seen impressive wins in the past few weeks.
First, on July 14, 2017, Anna-Rose Mathieson obtained reversal in a 9th Circuit immigration appeal for a Jordanian woman bringing claims under the Convention Against Torture. The opinion in the case, Suradi v. Sessions, is available by clicking here.
Then, on July 20, 2017, Robert Roth prevailed in defending a significant family law judgment. In Marriage of O’Toole and Greenlaw, the First District of the California Court of Appeal considered questions involving the proper method for calculating the tax impact of spousal support, determining the marital standard of living for support purposes, and imputing income to investment assets.
